Sorry to have disappointed you. Life is pretty good right now and I have nothing to really hate. I'll try to come up with something.

I am happily childfree. If you had actually read what I wrote rather than overreacting like most of your ilk, you would know that my point of contention is the people who intentionally plan a "family" vacation to Vegas, not the lactators like yourself who are "forced" to go to Vegas for "work." Bitch.

Hey bitch, do you have any kids? I'd say no. A breastfeeding mother that has to attend a conference in Vegas has no choice but to bring a baby along. So grow up aand keep your ignorance to yourself

Okay, yeah. Those S-shaped things? I had to explicitly tell my husband that not only did I not want any crap for V-day (including diamonds, cards, etc.), but that no woman actually likes those necklaces--it's a manufactured, created need. I think it's criminal that Zales is convincing men that women want these.

I also really hate those sperm-shaped pendants. I hate Valentine's Day in general. It's a way too commercialized event that puts way too much pressure on the hitched to be all romantic and on the unhitched to make themselves so.

I agree with you on Ron Paul. He's a delusional nut job with absolutely no chance of being elected. I do, however, disagree on your assessment of Hillary. Yes, she is hated by the right, and yes, she is a very polarizing figure, but I strongly believe that the right's hatred of her is nothing in comparison to the rest of the country's hatred of Bush. If the economy continues to tank and the war continues as it has been, no Republican has a chance of being elected in November, and certainly not one that supports Bush and the policies of the current Administration. If McCain is going to have any shot at being elected, he will need to distance himself from the Administration and take a realistic look at the situation in Iraq. Even the die-hard Republicans I know can admit it's a cluster fuck.

The best part is the reaction Mukasey has gotten. Ted Kennedy's not always quotable (or even relevant) these days, but once in a while, he gets a good one in.

Perhaps I didn't make the most imporant point clear enough -- these are people who have said, "The best way to reach me is via email." If you tell someone to email you, rather than call, then you should check your email. If someone were to tell me that they work in a field where they do not have time to check email on a regular basis, I would call if I needed a quick response. In the instant situation, I wasn't even looking for a quick or immediate response, I gave them all 4 days to respond.

Dan said to post this rebuttal here.

People who do not respond to email when a question is asked or a response is otherwise warranted — I understand that not everyone has the luxury of sitting in front of a computer with their email application of choice open at all times, but come on people, it’s 2008, so if you let someone know that email is an acceptable way of communicating with you, you have an obligation to check, read, and respond to messages that are sent that way.

To rebut: People who send urgent matters needing an immediate response via email. Come one, people. I realize it's 2008, but not everyone has the luxury of sitting in front of a computer with their email application of choice open at all times. In fact, some of us work in fields where we may not have time to check email for a couple of days. If it's really urgent and needs immediate response, you get a live body on the phone. Use your noodle, folks.
